A three-day show featuring films by Tareque Masud and Catherine Masud began at the British Council Auditorium on the Dhaka University campus on Thursday.
The show screened Narasundar, a short thriller set in the countrys war of independence in 1971, and Muktir Katha, a documentary on genocide and war crimes committed during the war.
The organisers also held a discussion on Narasundar after the screening of the film.
Mostafa Monwar, Tanvir Mokammel, Ferdousi Priyabhasini and Nasiruddin Yousuff spoke on the film.
Due to overwhelming audience response, we are holding the show, said the organisers.
The films will also be screened at 11:00am, 3:00pm, 4:30pm and 6:00pm on Friday and Saturday.
Tickets will be available at Tk 30 each at the British Council gate before the shows.
